Hi, Leana. What a wonderful blessing God has afforded you: a chance to serve in one of the most beautiful places on earth. I know you will have a great experience; but, we will miss your sunny disposition and great sense of humor. Be sure to take advantage of the skiing there in the winter and in the summer, there are some wonderful hiking trails with rivers and creeks to cool off in when you get tired. I used to babysit in the Tahoe area for the summer when I was a teenager. Our church youth group used to arrange skiing trips in the winter. Like you, I had a wonderful mother who did everything possible to give my sister and me opportunities to experience all of God's blessings: both fun and spiritual. Have a wonderful time.
