Leana!!!!
Wow we've been talking about you leaving for California so long that my brain is having a hard time catching up to reality! I remember the first time we hung out - I had just started going to City Fellowship and still felt out of place. But you were the first person who really reached out to me and asked me on a coffee date. Leana, living with you in that awesome apartment was just fantastic. Before you asked me to move in with you and Hannah, I didn't have anywhere to stay and zero plans, but you were an amazing blessing when I really needed some grace. Thanks for trusting and encouraging me and sharing your life with me. I'll remember those cookouts we had (BEST grilled chicken ever), that late night game of Quelf (the evil has vanquished us!), and when you honored me by serving my wedding cake.
I know with absolute certainty that you are moving to CA to follow God's lead in your life, and I am humbled by your faith. I know it's been hard for you to say goodbye, and I will miss you terribly as a sister in Christ and a friend. But I can't wait to hear what God has planned for you! You are full of love for God and people, Leana, so go bless the socks off of people and kids in Tahoe, like you've always done for me. And have so much fun! Oh and I hope you'll have ample floor space in case Nick and I want to come visit you :)

Well Smalls I guess this is it. Your about to leave soon and I don’t really know how I could try to even explain what the last two years have meant to me. I just want to let you know that your friendship has meant a lot to me. We’ve been through a lot some good some bad but we have it through. I’m going to miss all our times hanging out watching boy meets world and eating burger king. It’s gonna be hard to say goodbye so I’m not going to cause this isn’t goodbye. I know this hard for you but I admire what you’re doing. If you need anything you know you can call anytime. Remember that no matter what happens God will always there watching out for you. Also remember when you go San Francisco make sure to wear some flowers in your hair.

You have so many great qualities that it is hard to write them all in a little note. You are a humble servant (willing to scrub the kitchen squeaky clean - even the yucky burner things on the stove). You are wise beyond your years (able to handle many children at once - even screaming babies). You are a graceful friend with a sweet spirit. We love you and will miss you!

I still can't believe you are choosing California over the beautiful Jackson, TN. We are certainly going to miss you and your smiling face. I know that God is doing great works in you, and He will continue to do great works in California! We will be praying for you periodically and ask that you do the same for us. Movie nights will be so quiet without you around! I am just glad that we will still get to see you every once in a while when you come back and visit! Now, if we can just get Michael to share those $20 plane tickets then we can come see you, too!!
